Dukes County, Mass , seeks fixed-income manager

Dukes County, Mass., seeks fixed-income manager Print Dukes County Contributory Retirement System, Vineyard Haven, Mass., is searching for a core fixed-income manager to run about $25 million. Dahab Associates, investment consultant for the $210 million defined benefit plan, is assisting in the search. The search is being conducted to comply with state law requiring contracts be put out for rebid, said Kevin Condy, director of research at Dahab Associates. Garcia Hamilton is the current manager and is invited to rebid. The RFP is available on Dahab s website. Proposals are due noon EDT July 19. A selection is expected to be made in the third quarter, Mr. Condy said.
