Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Ivy League will not hold league competition or host championships in any spring sports.
The conference’s council of presidents outlined the parameters for practice and competition for this spring, a week after news emerged that they planned to grant a limited waiver that allows 2021 graduates to participate in intercollegiate athletics during the 2021-22 school year as graduate students.
Yesterday’s statement does still allow for practices and training opportunities for enrolled student-athletes and holds out the potential for local spring competition, “if public health conditions substantially improve.”
