The human remains that were found on Cedar Mountain at the end of May have been identified as Courtney Lynne Townsend, according to the Kane County Sheriff's Office.
On May 27, Kane County Sheriff's Office received a tip from an individual who was riding their ATV in the Duck Creek Ridge area about some clothing they had located on the side of the road. Authorities responded and the investigation indicated the presence of human remains with and in the area around the clothing.
