Oconto County Court: man charged after pursuit from Oconto to Howard

OCONTO – A Green Bay man is accused of leading police officers over a 30-mile, high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle from Oconto to a Howard supermarket. The chase began about 9:35 p.m. on Jan. 30, after Oconto Police Officer Brad Shearer came upon a westbound car that had stopped for extended period of time at the intersection of Doran Street and Pine Avenue at the south edge of the city. After the vehicle turned north onto Pine Avenue and pulled into a driveway, Shearer learned from a records check that car had been reported stolen in Green Bay and activated his lights and siren.
