According to police duffer then fled after the homeowner threatened to call police but also took a loaded handgun he found in the console of the truck. Lemm, originally from bernard iowa, moved to nebraska and eventually new york, where he was a member of the police force for about 15 years. He was on his third and final tour overseas. Dozens of troops returning home this evening after providing more than 300 thousand gallons of clean water to flood victims in missouri. Missouri has been in a state of emergency since the holidays heavy flooding soiled the towns water supply, displaced homes than a dozen. The Iowa National guard left for provide relief.
