DUBOIS CO., Ind. (WFIE) - PETA is taking aim at Farbest Foods in Huntingburg.
The animal rights group is calling on Dubois County Prosecutor Anthony Quinn to investigate Farbest Foods on the heels of a report from the USDA.
According to that report, at least 20 turkeys were suffocated at the plant.
The report states crates full of live turkeys were stacked in cages. When those birds were later removed, 10-12 were dead in each crate.
