Stardust campaigner remembered on Mother s Day By Alison O Reilly The late Stardust campaigner Christine Keegan is being remembered today.
The mother of two teenage girls, Martina and Mary, who died in the Valentine s Disco that killed 48 in 1981, passed away last year.
Christine led a campaign for 40 years to get justice for all the families who lost children in the first in north Dublin that shocked the country.
An inquest is due to take place these year into the deaths of all the people who died.
It s the Keegan family s first mother s day without her.
Her six children paid tribute to her today.
Walrus makes unexpected visit to Kerry By Alison O Reilly A 140 stone stone Walrus has made an unexpected appearance on an island off the coast of Kerry.
The Artic Ocean native animal was spotted off Valencia island by stunned locals who captured him on their phones.
The mammal is the size of a bull, put on a performance for locals this afternoon.
