The Dublin-based Thai restaurant group has partnered with Reef Technologies to open the dark kitchen in London’s Canary Wharf, which is set to be the first of a number planned for the UK.
The restaurant group says that dark kitchens were an important component in its non-traditional franchising growth strategy and will offer a new avenue for urban consumers to access its brand.
“Camile is embracing ghost kitchen opportunities to expand their reach beyond traditional brick and mortar restaurants in every neighbourhood across London,” says Camile Thai UK general manager Jonathan Dockrell.
