ISLAMABAD: As compared to the previous day, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) reported on Thursday the number of new Covid-19 cases detected in the country remained largely unchanged, but there was a decrease in the number of persons who died of the dreaded disease.
According to the data revealed by NCOC, 4,198 people tested positive for coronavirus and 108 persons died of the disease in the previous 24 hours.
The data issued on Wednesday had revealed that 119 deaths and 4,113 cases had been reported in a single day.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Director General Health Rana Safdar on Thursday has said that anti Covid vaccine is available in sufficient quantity in the country.
Briefing the media persons in Islamabad, he said the government is taking all possible steps to acquire more vaccine from all possible sources.
The DG Health said a mechanism has been developed to ensure that only quality vaccine is administered to the people. He said no compromise will be made on the quality of the vaccine.

According to the fresh statistics issued by National Command and Operation Centre, 46,467 tests were conducted and positivity ratio remained nine point zero three percent.
