The state parks agency plans a series of virtual and in-person events in the coming days to celebrate Black History Month.

• John Jay Homestead State Historic Site: A Zoom lecture on the history of enslavement in the colonial-era family, starting at 7 p.m. Feb. 24. Registration available at johnjayhomestead.org
