EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Officers with the Evansville Police Department arrested two people after they say both were found asleep in a Corvette with the engine running.
Around 4 a.m. Thursday, officers say someone called 911 to report a Corvette being driven recklessly, speeding and swerving down Morgan Avenue.
The caller described the car as âlooking like a galaxy.â
âThe call is what tipped us off to have us go in that area to look for that car,â Sgt. Nick Winsett, Evansville Police Department Public Information Officer said. âSo, otherwise, who knows, the way they were driving, they may have ended up hitting another car, hitting a house, who knows.â
