Academy gains national recognition for safe remote learning in King s Lynn

A Lynn academy has been nationally recognised for successfully providing safe and high-quality remote education while continuing to support pupil wellbeing.
The Fen Rivers Academy SEMH Special School, in Kilham s Way, has achieved National Online Safety s Safe Remote Education Accreditation for its commitment to keeping children and young people safe online during remote teaching and learning.
James Southworth, co-founder at National Online Safety, said: âCongratulations to everyone at The Fen Rivers Academy on achieving their National Online Safety Safe Remote Education Accreditation. By completing our training programme, the school has shown its strong commitment to implementing the most effective approach to delivering remote education.â

SCHOOL staff are set to deliver free resources in their ongoing commitment to keeping students kitted out for remote learning. Ormiston Rivers Academy will operate a mobile resource drop-off where staff will visit every village on the Dengie Peninsula to provide free stationery and resources to those who need it. The school deployed its school minibus to deliver everything from food to sanitary supplies.
