Turkey Mountain has seen several upgrades in the past few years, including Oklahoma's largest natural stone staircase, restroom facilities, and revamped trails.
The roughly 88 acres of new property south of 61st Street and west of Elwood Avenue will get eight miles of trails and a safe pathway linking the existing property.
The organization hopes to raise $5 million for the project, which could include headquarters space for River Parks staff, River Parks Authority Executive Director Jeff Edwards said.
