Covid-safe Santa s grotto coming to Halesowen

A DRIVE-THRU Santa experience is being held in Halesowen and is proving to be a big hit. Little Cornbow street in Halesowen will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland this weekend as Lifecentral Church, Halesowen BID and Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council Community Forum create an opportunity for families to meet the man himself in an innovative and covid-secure way. Guests will drive through festively decorated archways accompanied by live entertainment before being greeted with a gift from Father Christmas, with all proceeds from the event donated to Operation Santa Dudley. The idea has gone down a storm - with tickets selling out in minutes.

Indianola Noon Lions Thanks Volunteers and Attendees for Drive-Thru Santa

The Indianola Noon Lions Club collected over seven grocery carts of food and over $400 to donate to the Helping Hand of Warren County at the Drive-Thru Santa event Saturday, after helping to organize the event partnering with the Indianola Chamber of Commerce, McCoy True Value, and other local organizations. Rick Wilson with the Indianola Noon Lions tells KNIA News being able to organize an event like this after many of the usual Indianola Christmas activities have been canceled, and seeing the happy looks from children and families as they drove through to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, was such an overwhelming positive influence for the volunteers who helped make the event possible.
