Chinese telecom giant Huawei officially started selling smart electric cars on Monday, in another concrete step in the company s ambitious push into the burgeoning new-energy vehicle (NEV) sector, as it further seeks to shake off mounting pressure from US crackdowns on its business.
During the 19th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition in Shanghai on Monday, Huawei and Chinese automaker SERES jointly launched the SF5 - an electric sport utility vehicle that applies Huawei s solutions for smart cars, including the HiCar and Drive One systems.
