Chuck Liddell Open To Entertaining Bare-Knuckle Fight
Don’t rule out seeing UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell compete under the BKFC banner.
Liddell is considered to be a legend in MMA. He once dominated the UFC light heavyweight division. He’s beaten the likes of Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture, Vitor Belfort, Alistair Overeem, Kevin Randleman, and “Babalu” to name a few. As a two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Liddell has cemented his place in MMA history.
Over the last few years, however, many have become concerned over Liddell’s continued desire to fight. When it comes to MMA competition, he initially ended his career losing three fights in a row via knockout or TKO. After not competing since 2010, Liddell made his return in 2018 for a third fight with Tito Ortiz. While Liddell stopped Ortiz twice in his prime, the older Liddell ended up being knocked out this time.
Chuck Liddell is interested in fighting again and wants it to be in bare-knuckle.
At BKFC 19 last weekend, Liddell was part of an alternative commentary with his podcast partners from the Drinkin’ Bros network. During the fights, they asked him if he’d be interested in fighting in BKFC and floated a purse of $100k. Although Liddell scoffed at the $100k, he did say he would be interested in fighting sans gloves.
“It would all have to depend,” Liddell said during the broadcast (via MMAFighting). “We’d have to talk about it. Yeah, if they pay enough money, sure. It all depends on what they come up with. We can talk about it. If they’re interested come and talk to me.”

UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell will step into the commentary booth for the upcoming BKFC 19 card headlined by Paige VanZant and Rachael Ostovich.
Liddell and his co-hosts Daniel Hollaway and Ross Patterson from the “Drinkin’ Bros Network” will be providing a special alternate commentary track available through FITE TV for the upcoming pay-per-view card on July 23.
Similar to what the UFC once did with rapper Snoop Dogg and Hall of Famer Urijah Hall for Dana White’s Contender Series, Liddell and his friends will be doing their own full commentary and analysis for the fight card taking place in Florida this weekend.
