It would result in a considerable increase in traffic, especially heavy vehicles on Gloucester Road. This would impact on vehicles accessing from the junction of the Cheltenham (A435) Road where visibility is very poor. The intermittent tailbacks from the traffic lights at Abbey Way (A456) and the large roundabout at the Bypass (A429) extending sometimes back to beyond the Drillman Arms would exacerbate considerable delays for stationery traffic. It would also of course increase pollution considerably on this rural road which is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. I hope that residents will look at the various documents which include plans and photos and spread the word so that objections to the scheme can be gathered together and presented in an appropriate form before the application is officially considered.
