people s assemblies going on. you can see it and possibly hear it over my shoulder, where people make speeches, but because they don t use a mic system here, they don t have permits for that, so instead, they shout it from person to person to person so the entire crowd can hear what the message is, trying to rally support for their cause. as you say, as we pan the crowd here, you can see that there are a lot of young activists here, certainly, but already also others here from different walks of life. last hour, we introduced you to a grandmother who came here all the way from detroit. all kinds of people represented. they re also getting visits from celebrities. some who are here to show support, some who stopped by, not necessarily looking for the spotlight, but just to hear what s going on. in the middle of this week, on the biggest day we saw of all the crowds we had, that was the day we had the big rally. we ran into documentary filmmaker, michael moore, who s been here
straightforward, it sounds fair, and he s very kind of candid about it. i think people like that about him, frankly. okay. robert, i just want to tell you, and you probably noticed, we have a little bit of a delay with you, but here s the deal with most of these polls. they put mitt romney in front, all but this one, should he be worried about herman cain, or is it more rick perry who needs to be worried about herman cain, because it s his group from which he s drawing support from now? you re exactly right, alex. this really is about rick perry and herman cain kind of out-flanking him, if you will, on the right. if i m mitt romney now and we have herman cain rising in the polls, this is a good thing for me, because it takes the heat off of me and the perceived flip-flopping we may or may not have in republican voters minds. so i think the real enemy here is herman cain to the right of rick perry. if i m rick perry, i m concerned right about now, not only from a financial standpoi

verdict came down and prosecutors hammered away at inconsistencies in ward s story and that he calmly admitted five times, five times in the initial 911 call that he had shot his wife. listen to that. all right. and then there was this bizarre jailhouse video just days after his wife died ward apparently you see him there performing a strip tease for his daughter and sister-in-law and all three acted like him being arrested was a big joke in that video. i want to bring in legal expert holly hughes, a criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor. bob ward was a millionaire. he had a high caliber defense team i would imagine. did the defense make a mistake here? no. the defense was stuck with what their client had already said. we just played that tape for the listeners. when you very calmly say five times i shot my wife and you don t at the time you re not hysterical. no urgency in his voice. he s not hysterical. get here and help her. they re stuck with the stateme
arnold schwarzenegger is with drawing support to expand oil drilling off the stay s coast. takes news conference today, schwarzenegger said he changed his mind about the safety of offshore oil drilling after seeing pictures of the massive gulf of mexico spill. the republican governor had proposed expanding oil drilling as a way to help close california s huge budget gap, but now, as we say, he has had a change of mind. while oil giant bp says it will pay for the gulf clean-up, at least one federal official is willing to stand up and say the buck stops here. listen to the coast guard common ant, ed allen. by law and statute utilize and regulation, bp is the responsible party. they will bear all the cost of this event. that said, the coast guard is accountable for the federal government for the oversight. this is ultimately a shared responsibility. we are accountable, and frankly, i am accountable. the coast guard chief spoke
