Fennel and Thyme owner Stacy Davis believes everyone deserves to sit down to a hot meal regardless of their means. That s why she started a voucher program to help feed the hungry.
Davis began her food prep and catering business by renting the kitchen of S.A.L.T. Box Ministries, an outreach program at St. John Lutheran Church that provides hot meals, clothing and groceries to those who need a hand. Maybe I was naive, Davis said. Being over at the S.A.L.T. Box, I found out there was a lot of need in our community. It kind of opened my eyes.
