East Coast Park with possible dugong feeding trails
There is a shallow lagoon at East Coast Park which has slowly been taken over by seagrasses. Today, I return for the first time in 5 years to find a lovely seagrass meadow teeming with marine life. And saw possibly some dugong feeding trails!
We also quickly checked up on Bedok Jetty earlier.
My first time back to this shore since Jun 2016! There is now a long and wide sand bar next to the canal mouth. Which seemed to have formed a calm shallow lagoon for seagrasses and other marine life to thrive.

Plans have been announced for over 1,250 new homes at the Central Mental Hospital site in Dundrum in Dublin.
The Land Development Agency said the development will include houses, apartments, duplex apartments and homes specifically designed for older residents.
The houses will largely be located at the exterior of the development, with apartments at the centre.
The tallest building at the centre of the development will be 11 storeys high and the “typical building height” will be between four and eight storeys.
The LDA said the mix of homes on the site has yet to be confirmed by Government; however, “the primary focus of the development will be social and affordable housing and the majority of homes will fit that criteria.”
It will be placed in public domain for inviting suggestions
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Tuesday gave preliminary approval for the Draft Master Plan for Delhi-2041 (MPD-2041). The draft will now be placed in public domain for inviting objections/suggestions.
The DDA said that the MPD-2041 has been divided into two volumes and nine sections which contain 22 chapters with the vision to “Foster a Sustainable, Liveable and Vibrant Delhi by 2041”. The master plan, the DDA said will facilitate Delhi’s development by assessing the present condition and guiding how to achieve the desired development. It is also upon the lessons learnt from the implementation of the previous plans and based on learnings from across the country with respect to implementation of various projects and schemes, the DDA said.
