KLANG: The Kuala Langat PKR division has issued a statement disassociating itself from Datuk Dr Xavier Jayakumar following his departure from the party.
Division deputy chief Mohd Afiq Mohd Tuniman issued the statement, saying that the constituency s grassroots will ensure “traitors” will not get a place in Kuala Langat in the next general election. Kuala Langat Keadilan (PKR) is determined to clean-up and strengthen the division to ensure we can better serve the people.
Dr Xavier helmed the division before leaving the party as a member and as a vice-president. Kuala Langat PKR also vows full loyalty and support to the party and the leadership of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and will not compromise with any individual who is closely linked to the Perikatan Nasional government, said Mohd Afiq.

pic) says his reputation as an elected representative is being sullied by media reports linking him to a party colleague who is assisting in a graft investigation.
He also added he did not condone acts of corruption. I have never condoned corruption in the Pakatan Harapan government, and I will never abandon my values as one of the early reformists in Keadilan, the former Pakatan Harapan Cabinet minister said in a statement on Wednesday (Feb 17).
The party colleague in question is Perak PKR deputy chief M.A. Tinagaran, who has been remanded for six days by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to help them in an investigation involving some development work in the state.
