New cases, new cases are down. Um, so So that s fantastic. Vaccine is rolling out all those fantastic things. But guess what? We are not out of the woods yet. We are not there yet. And just looking at the data, you know, this is not driven by emotion or feeling. Let s just be scientific. Let s look at the data and what the data suggest is we are not out of the woods yet. It s not time to do away with the mask mandate we need to continue masking in social situations. We still have the covid variants out there that have proven to be much more contagious. UAB gave a report Friday on how its vaccination clinics are going so far. But some people say they’ve had issues getting the shot at the new Parker High School location.
Vaccine supply continues to be an issue, and one UAB doctor said there is no guarantee that second shots will be available for those who received their first shots at one of their clinics.
