it s absolutely unbelievable. you have a bureaucracy more interested in protecting their jobs and protecting their bonuses. right. than protecting the people that protect them and it s outrageous. i think the president should have fired shinseki. i agree totally. this is a problem that preceded president obama s administration before 2008. he ran on it in 2008. but, also, oversight. where has congress been on this? a lot of people asleep at the wheel on this. congress does things like increase funding, right? and there has been a massive increase in funding for the v.a. at the end of the day, the buck stops with the administration to ensure that it s this is being done correctly. they have oversight over. this look, and i do hold the president acouldn table for. this but i didn t believe that oversight committees didn t know this was going on. if they didn t they should have and should have been scream from the treetops. i think everybody knew there was a wait. we have been
