The woman had married the man in 2021 but within 15 days his family had allegedly begun demanding Rs 10 lakhs from her, the woman finally reached out to the police when she couldn’t bear the torture.
Women police station in-charge Jyoti Sharma said that a 29-year-old woman has lodged a complaint that she got married to Varun Joshi, a resident of Aerodrome area in June 2021.
