TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) A historic downtown Tomah building destroyed by a fire is coming down. The roof and part of the second floor had completely collapsed, causing the buildings to be condemned. A fire a little over a week ago tore through the roof and part of the second floor.
The damage was so severe investigators couldn’t go through want was left of the building to determine the cause.
However, they do not believe the fire was set intentionally.
Today crews knocked the buildings down.
The businesses located inside the building have not said if or where they plan to re-open.
