FAIRFIELD Legendary crooner Bing Crosby’s 1943 gold record “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” was a lament sung from the viewpoint of an overseas US soldier hoping to share the holiday with family and realizing it would probably be only in his dreams. In 2020, the reality is that many people will be spending Christmas at home due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
But that is not stopping Fairfield-based Missouri Street Theatre (MST) from keeping traditions they have established over the years. On Tuesday, December 22, the award-winning company is presenting “Home for Christmas,” a live stream concert event free to the public online and on demand afterwards until Christmas day.
