The driver pulled over. He had two passengers in his car a man and a woman. When the trooper was running the drivers infothe man in the back of the car took off on foot. Trooper chased him into a lot. Preliminary reports show the suspect fired at the officer its unclear how many rounds and struck the officer right in his badge.
