They came from different countries, but a Clarksville couple who plans to celebrate Valentineâs Day with a romantic dinner and a movie this weekend at home, enjoy celebrating their union that began with the couple separated by an ocean, via the internet.
Daniela Thomas, an artist and poetess from Romania, met her husband, John Thomas, online while arguing over the 2009 film, âAgora.â
âI guess arguing is a little too negative,â Daniela Thomas said. âBut actually, we were analyzing the movie from different perspectives.â
There was something about the conversation that ended up sparking a friendship, more overseas conversations, and eventually it led to love.
