There s more than eating and drinking to do at the Highlands Food & Wine Festival. There s also a great lineup of local music planned for the food fest s fifth go-round: Amos Lee, Hiss Golden Messenger, Devon Gilfillian, and Rufus Lee and The Handful. The festival takes place Nov.11-14 in downtown Highlands in Macon County, and tickets are now on sale.  Besides live music, festival guests can also check out the popular Grand Tasting, Truckin’, Main Event and Sunday Shindig events, which all feature live music combined with world-class food from local and regional chefs. Fine wine and spirits seminars, specialty dinners and other culinary experiences also dot the weekend schedule.
