Ex-squaddie caught drink driving while out on food run for his pregnant wife A DAD-to-be went out to buy food to satisfy his pregnant wife’s cravings – and was caught drink driving.
Swindon Magistrates’ Court heard ex-solider Kelvin Kembo, 32, was sent out by his partner on Easter Sunday after she “developed a food craving”. His solicitor, Gordon Hotson, told the magistrates on Monday: “The initial thought was to order something in by Deliveroo or any of the other similar delivery services, but she wanted something rather quicker than they could provide. “Foolishly, having consumed some alcohol earlier on, he gave in and drove to by some food, only to find the shop was shut when he got there.”
