Over Estates first proposed building eight houses on the land, before Cheshire West planning officers rejected the scheme. Subsequently, the firm came back with new proposals for seven dwellings on the plot in November but new drawings show this has again been revised down to six. In a statement to the council when applying for seven homes, Over Estates said: “The proposed development makes best use of previously developed land on this brownfield site with the addition of residential units which will provide much needed private accommodation at the affordable end of the market.
