Daniel Banyai, under an outstanding arrest warrant, was the target of a planned sting operation by the Vermont State Police and Rutland Sheriff David Fox on December 20 but never showed up in person for the meeting. Instead, Banyai called into his parole officer, as he is allowed, from a location outside of Vermont, foiling plans for his arrest in his ongoing battle with the Town of Pawlet over land use.
Teresa Kay (Norton) Yarns, 70, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, in Ellijay, Ga., where she had resided with her husband, Robert Bernard Yarns, since 2003.
