Only two women made the list, Carol Meyrowitz of Tjx Companies and debra cafaro from ventas. Amazon founder jeff bezos earned the top spot. Review researchers say they did a purely Statistical Analysis of how the ceos performed delivering solid results over the long run. The analysis found women are twice as likely as men to become ceos as an outside hire but ceo candidates from within perform better. Only 3 of the ceos studied were women.
