Theater Talk: Scott Behrend of Road Less Traveled, first to cancel, first to announce new season

7:27 This week s Theater Talk, extended web version, with Scott Behrend of Road Less Traveled Productions (airs 4/23/2021) Scott Behrend, co-founder and Artistic and Executive Director of Buffalo s Road Less Traveled Productions spoke with Theater Talk about their announced opening on November 4, 2021. Credit roadlesstraveledproductions.org The upcoming season, later than Shea s plan to re-open in September, makes RLTP the first local theater to announce a full season, albeit with 4 plays instead of the usual 5. Behrend says that this will give RLTP the ability to extend each play s run, should future regulations limit attendance on any given evening. As with all theaters, it s financially necessary to achieve 100% of planned ticket sales. Hopefully that will mean 100% of the audience seats will be filled on any given night, but if 100% of necessary ticket sales have to be spread out over more time, the organization can handle that.
