An exciting future is in the works for the Hanover Parks as it seeks more public input in the coming weeks while developing a five-year plan.
On Tuesday night, the Hanover Park Committee met to map out actions leading up to April 15 deadline when it will must submit an application to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources for the Land and Water Conservation Fund grant to fund improvements to the Hanoverâs parks system.
âWe are all proud of the history of Hanover and all our founding fathers did to pave the way for the the town as it is today,â it was stated in documentation for the five-year plan submitted by committee spokesman Don Server. âWe know from the past successes of our Community Days, Arts Festivals, Tour of Homes as well as the days when our Parks flourished is incentive for us to revive the spirit that once lived within our community. We have taken a renewed interest in working to make our Parks Department a strong and vibrant entity and look r
