The Northwest Territories Power Corporation said it cut power to the Taltson hydro transmission line after a forest fire in the area likely caused an interruption on it. Now the communities of Fort Smith, Fort Resolution, Hay River, Enterprise and K’átł’odeeche First Nation are running on diesel instead.
