Virtual Judges Needed for High School Speech Meets
We have expected huge high school speech meets at Corvallis High School every year. Well, due to COVID-19, not this year. The speech and debate competition has been taken online. A news release from Doug McConnaha at the Corvallis school said that judges will watch the competitors online as the students perform from across the state at their schools in live events. And, judges are still needed. Those who have judged these meets in the past are always amazed at the talent of the students performing in all sorts of speech and drama categories.
