The Devon Christmas Bird Count was held on Dec. 27, 2020, seeing another year of broken records.
This year, six elusive Brown Creepers were spotted, beating the previous record of three from 1995. Eurasian collared doves, in introduced species, also beat the record from 2016 with 12 sightings this year.

Despite having to work with provincial restrictions to ensure groups were small and well spaced out, count organizer Doug Macaulay said the interest in the count was high and many regular volunteers still came out to support the annual count.
