Mask protesters should face consequences
On Saturday, May 1, 2021, some Granville residents, self-identifying as “Mothers Against DeWine’ (MAD), decided to express their mask-mandate fatigue through a protest they deemed an expression of their first amendment rights.
The only problem was that they were not protesting at the governor’s office. Instead, they targeted a local independent grocery store, Ross Market. The women went to the store with the clear intention to foment trouble and harass the law-abiding employees and customers.
They were confident in their misguided sense of entitlement that they videotaped the harassment.
