In court filings, the officers say they are victims of an overzealous prosecution. They want states attorney Marilyn Mosby replaced with an independent prosecutor. They also said they did have a legal basis to arrest gray. But the prosecution maintains gray wasnt carrying any illegal knife and shouldnt have been arrested.
