It takes a village to bring together a large-scale musical production involving dozens of student actors, and fortunately for fans of live theater, Fort Kent has some dedicated villagers.
The Fort Kent Community High School one-act play “Cudas’ Last Ride” was a success for all involved at the Class B Regional Drama Festival held the weekend of March 25-26 in Millinocket.
Despite facing power outages, the Fort Kent Drama Club opened its show to the community Thursday and was met with the crowd chanting “Cudas” during the curtain call.
A gang of friends, known as the Cudas, will be taking their last ride when the Regional Drama Festival returns this year, but not before the Fort Kent Drama Club brings the Cudas to their home stage.
