Elon Musk wants to make a new city called Starbase at SpaceX s launch facilities in Texas.

Musk explained on his Twitter account that that Starbase would cover an area much larger than SpaceX s Texas facilities in Boca Chica Village.

He then followed up with another tweet, which read: From thence to Mars and hence the stars.
It s uncertain what the CEO means by this statement. But it may suggest that the company is trying to expand. Boca Chica, formerly known as Kennedy Shores, is simply a quiet fishing community. Musk s use of the term city means that the site could be slated for accelerated expansion.
