The Environmental Protection Agency announced the Tuscola County Economic Development Corporation has been selected to receive $600,000 in brownfield funding through its multipurpose, assessment and cleanup grants.
Tuscola County EDC Executive Director Stephen Erickson said this funding was applied in partnership with Huron and Sanilac counties and would be primarily used for property assessments, where reviews are conducted to determine what is present at the property and what it would cost to alleviate those conditions.
