Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) legislator, Zhaleo Rio, has reiterated his commitment to bring about all-round development in his constituency. Addressing an annual general meeting-cum-picnic of NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II AC at TL Angami Park on October 8, Zhaleo expressed regret that the constituency had to sacrifice its justified demand for cabinet berth even in the present government. He, however, opined that it was for the welfare of Nagas in general. Zhaleo was optimistic that the UDA as well as NDPP is aware of all the nitty-gritty and will bring about more positive changes in the coming years, an update form the NDPP Ghaspani unit stated. Dimapur, July 5 (EMN): The executive members of NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II AC held a coordination meeting in the residence of the advisor of Excise and Minority Affairs, Zhaleo Rio, on July 4 in Sovima village. The ruling Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) founding member and women wing president Visevonuo Bebi Tsürho passed away on Tuesday at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima after a brief illness. She was 52 years.
Late Bebi also served as the principal of Kohima Law College and member of the State Juvenile Justice Board.
