Joya de Nicaragua will commemorate the bicentennial with a one-time release of Dos Cientos, “two hundred” in English, as well as a virtual smoking event in September for those who purchased a box. Joya will release 2,000 21-count boxes of the Dos Cientos in August. The toros measure 6 inches by 54 ring gauge, they are made with a multi-country blend and they are intended to be medium bodied. One cigar in every box will come wrapped in paper, denoting the cigar that’s meant to be smoked during the virtual bicentennial party. The Dos Ciento joins the Cinco Decadas, Cuatro Cinco and Número Uno as part of the brand’s Obras Maestras (“masterpieces”) family.
