PHOTOS: Cruising down memory lane at the old Ford Talbotville plant

An aerial photograph shows the plant in 1967. The plant was in serious trouble in 2006 as Ford cut production capability. At that point, the plant made the Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Marquis, both large cars with declining markets. A just-built car is loaded onto a delivery truck in 1972. Ford opened in 1967, and closed in 2011, due to a drop in demand for the full-size cars it produced there.
