Molly-Leigh s mother Kelly says her daughter has raised the money by undertaking a sponsored ride after being given her first bike. She said: She received a bike without training wheels and being the most determined child I know she learned in no time at all how to ride it. She then decided she wanted to do a challenge to raise money for a charity that would be very close to home.
Dorney Lake Calling all Mini car owners. After an eight year gap the organisers of the Italian Job charity car rally are bringing back The Mile of Mini challenge on Sunday, March 14 to help raise funds for children hit by the pandemic.
Dorney Lake, the venue of Olympic rowing events in 2012, will be playing a large part. The challenge will culminate with a record breaking attempt to park one mile of cars in succession along the TV track at Dorney Lake - which is the epicentre for high-performance rowing and flat water canoeing in the UK.
