42nd annual college week of DNGC Itanagar underway

Dimapur, Nov. 8 (EMN): The 42nd annual college week of Dera Natung Government College (DNGC), Itanagar began on Tuesday with much zest and enthusiasm. An update issued on Nov. 8 informed that the inaugural function was graced by Mama Natung, Minister, YA & S, WRD and Environment & Forests, government of Arunachal Pradesh as chief guest. At the inaugural programme, the Minister pointed out the significance of colleges in the field of education besides emphasising on the need of quality education while defining the notion of education as taking basic accountability of the surroundings and not acquiring a certificate. Tanya Agu, former Spokesperson of AAPSU and an alumnus of the college was the guest of honour.
