Thue and Vandesype received a Certificate of Recognition from the Province of Saskatchewan and a Long-Service Lapel Pin from the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation. Doreen Eagles, MLA for Estevan made the presentations. The volunteers were praised for the dedicated individuals that they are and thanked for the time they have willingly given to the community through their housing authority. Volunteers do not necessarily have the time, they just have the heart.
Board members, friends and staff from the Ministry of Social Services were also in attendance to congratulate these volunteers. The Radville Housing Authority participates in a network of 276 housing authorities throughout Saskatchewan that are responsible for the management of social and affordable housing for seniors, families and persons with disabilities who are in need of suitable accommodation.
