Veronica here it is. Garrett county. We do not have any advisories for our immediate area, but we are watching those elevated surfaces. Frederick, maryland. That will take us to 10 00 until 11 00. Today, we will be looking at flurries coming through. A system passing east of us. The wind will be quite strong, bringing all of that through our area. We have a cold front that will continue to allow our temperatures to drop. This area of low pressure coming into west virginia, as that comes east, it is going to tap some of that cold air and moisture coming together. We really think that will be martinsburg down toward winchester. Look at the hourly forecast. 9 00 a. M. , d. C. Things will start wrapping up and we will be left with flurries. You may hear a little ding as this transition takes over. That would really now be just to the south and east of washington but look at this snow back off to the west. Hagerstown, these are areas with slushiness along the grassy areas. Grassy surfaces didnt have a lot on the roadways because weve been so warm. We only had wet roadways reported throughout the region. We continue to see move out and it should wrap up at noon or shortly there after. Then well worry about the wind. Temperatures drop down into the 30s right now but were seeing the wind pick up out of the north, 21 miles per hour, weve got a windchill out there. For us, snow fell, but it did not amount to anything on the roadways. We did see a couple of areas that did see some accumulation on the grassy surfaces but not a big event. The big deal tonight will be the cold. Look at the windchills down to 33 in d. C. , 16 in state college, 24 in hagerstown. This after a day of 74 degrees. Tomorrow its even colder. Its not going to be a morning you want to get up and take a jog. If youre running in the rock n roll marathon tomorrow, make sure you have the layers. The windchills feeling about 8 in gaithersburg, 13 here in washington. As we move throughout the morning hours, it still feels like were in the teens and 20s by the midday hours.
